I’m Carmel - a Celtic Celebrant and Legal Solemniser based in the heart of the Irish Midlands, County Laois, a land rich in story, stone and soul.

For over forty years, music and ceremony have been part of my life. As a Celtic singer and harpist, I have played for weddings, funerals and sacred gatherings throughout Ireland and beyond. Music creates atmosphere, emotion and presence, and if you wish, I can gently weave live harp and song into your ceremony for an unforgettable Celtic soul touch.

Alongside being a celebrant, I’m a holistic therapist and life coach. I hold space with warmth, care and intuition. I listen deeply - not just to your words, but to what truly matters in your heart.

My ceremonies are inspired by ancient Celtic ways and earth‑honouring traditions. I draw on elements such as fire, water, handfasting, stone or tree rituals, and blessings of ancestors. There is a thread of nature‑based wisdom throughout - inclusive and respectful of your own beliefs. Whether you want something spiritual, symbolic, or simply beautiful, your ceremony will be shaped to reflect you.

There’s no “one‑size‑fits‑all” here. We begin with a blank canvas and co‑create a ceremony that feels authentic, meaningful and true to your love story.

I have been married for over 35 years, am a proud mother and grandmother, and a dog‑lover who finds deep peace in nature. These lived experiences shape how I show up - grounded, warm and deeply appreciative of love’s many seasons.
